Congratulations to our partners at Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco, Mercy Housing, and all of the organizations and individuals involved in the grand opening of 1064 Mission Street!
1064 Mission Street is San Francisco’s largest and most comprehensive permanent supportive housing (PSH) site. This community provides 256 units of affordable housing to formerly homeless adults and seniors. Other innovative services that this development provides are an on-site culinary training program (CHEFS) for formerly homeless individuals and the Tom Waddell Clinic, a 20,000 square foot Homeless Services Center (HSC). All 256 units will benefit from a City of San Francisco operating subsidy called LOSP (Local Operating Subsidy Program). Residents will pay 30% of their income in rent while LOSP covers the remaining operating expenses.
NEF is honored to take part in making this permanent supportive housing community a reality!
