Instead of "paving paradise" for a parking lot, NEF's long-time partners at Mercy Housing Northwest in conjunction with Pierce County recently broke ground on 80 affordable units at 35th and Pacific in Tacoma, WA. This development will provide new homes and hope to low-income families in one of the top ten least affordable metro areas in 2025 according to Realtor.com.
