Within the article, contributing writer, Michael Murney, highlights the importance of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs permanent supportive housing program (HUD-VASH), including its incentives and potential challenges for prospective developers.
Burkart speaks on not only the success of the program and the intentional, thoughtful collaboration that went into its creation, but on the possibilities for streamlining HUD-VASH rules for project-based developments.
