“We are inspired by our partners at RUPCO and their dedication to supporting vulnerable populations and improving communities. Landmark Place is a creative and unique development that blends historic preservation with new construction to deliver exactly what the community needs," said Emily Chen, Managing Director for the East Region at NEF.
Congratulations to our partners at RUPCO, Inc. and investors at TD on the ribbon-cutting of Landmark Place, a new construction and historic preservation development in Kingston, NY!
The development consists of the rehabilitated former Kingston Almshouse (Landmark West), which consists of 34 studio apartments. The new construction (Landmark East) is a 4-story building with 32 one-bedroom apartments. All 66 apartments cater to seniors 55 and older. 35 of the apartments are reserved for formerly homeless seniors.
Landmark Place was created to ensure that seniors in the community can live with dignity, empowering residents with supportive housing services and a sense of community that allows them to thrive. Thank you to our partners for leading the charge in making quality affordable housing accessible and inclusive for all!
