A couple of weeks ago, our partners at the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) celebrated the groundbreaking of the MLK Family Housing development in Seattle!
This 6-story, mixed-used and early learning center will provide 148 units of affordable housing for individuals and families, specifically focusing on those at risk of displacement and earning up to 50-60 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). Additionally, the learning center will be operated by Refugee Women’s Alliance (ReWA).
LIHI leaders, investors and city officials spoke at the event as well as our very own David Musial:
"National Equity Fund is honored to continue our partnership with LIHI through the inspiring development of MLK Family Mixed-Use Housing," said Musial. "As our fifth collaboration, we felt strongly connected to LIHI's efforts to unite safe, stable, and affordable housing with a dedicated space for early learning and childcare services, which will help residents and families in the community reach their full potential."
