Thrive Exchange South Revitalizes Chicago's Southside Corridor with 43 Affordable Workforce Housing

Because of our partners at DL3 Realty's steadfast commitment, the corner of E. 79th Street and S. Exchange Ave is a beacon of revitalization in the 7th Ward, a historic corridor on Chicago's Southside. Thrive Exchange South celebrated its "Welcome Home" event last week to commemorate this landmark accomplishment of providing 43 affordable workforce housing units for households earning 60% of the area median income with retail space on the ground floor.

This development is part of NEF's AHEAD initiative, which was established in order to build the financial capacity and experience of non-traditional developers to help them overcome today’s high barriers of entry in accessing LIHTC to create new affordable housing.
