Waukegan Landmark Transformed & Expanded into 98 Affordable One-Bedroom Apartments in Illinois

A few weeks ago, NEF was honored to witness the transformation and expansion of Ravine Terrace into Riverside Apartments and Riverside Extensions in Waukegan, IL!

Developed by Bear Real Estate Group in partnership with Waukegan Housing Development Corp, this affordable housing development is the combination of the rehabilitated public housing development and a new construction building on a separate site.

All 98 one-bedroom units are affordable for households earning 30%, 50% or 60% of the area median income (AMI) with a preference for seniors and people with disabilities.
