Congratulations to our partners at Gaudenzia, Inc. on the opening of West Mill Place in Philadelphia! This affordable housing complex will not only meet the needs of the community for low-income families but also provide a safe haven for people in recovery from substance abuse.
West Mill Place offers 30 units in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia where drug use has been historically rampant. The complex will serve low-income individuals and families recovering from substance abuse and the services offered will assist them in maintaining sobriety and gaining financial independence. One quarter of the apartments will be reserved for homeless individuals or those at-risk of homelessness.
Gaudenzia is one of the largest non-profit organizations in Philadelphia with the mission to help people affected by chemical dependency, mental illness and related conditions to achieve a better quality of life. Thanks to their latest efforts, residents will now have a stable, safe, and affordable place to call home!
